Beautiful Soft Wool Velour Demi Cloche Style Hat with Handstitched Irridescent Bead Detail.

Design Style: Demi Cloche (bell shaped) style, with matching thin wool band wrapped fully around ear line, and overlapping a little in the back. Style: these hats were worn pulled low over forehead & ears.

Beading: Irridescent blue faceted tubular 5 sided beads, often called bugle beads, hand sewn in sets of two starting from top center and winding outwards in circular pattern.

Manufacturer: ? Unknown, but inside tag has label with "A.D.J. M.S.C." printed on it. Inside Stamped Marking reads "Genuine Fur Imported Velour".

Date/Age: Best Guess: 1940s.

Sizes: All approximates. 8 diameter across top, 8.75 inches across bottom base of hat, 21-22 inch diameter inside hatband (grograin ribbon), 5 inches height from base to crown of top.

Condition: EXCELLENT! No tears or holes, no discoloration or fading. No missing beads.
