Organically Grown Canna Lily Seeds Each Order 50+ Seeds!

Easy to grow and prolific flowering cannas! Over 50 seeds per order.

Organically grown in my own organic garden, no pesticides, only essential oil bug repellent sprays (water, vinegar, oil, essential oil) used to deter chewing insects in leaves. Not organically certified, just following protocol in my own personal yard.

This is a Perennial plant, which grows from seeds or rhizomes. Some cannas have edible roots or are used for traditional medicinal uses in the tropics.

Cannaceae Family. Names: Wild Canna Lily, canna indica.

Sun requirements: Best in Part sun but can be Shade or Full sun also.

Zones: 6-9, 12-24, H1, H2, or dig and store.

Height: Approximately 3-6 feet.

Soil requirements: prefers rich and loose soil, but also can grow in wet or sandy soil. Regular water during growth and bloom is recommended.

Where to grow: These lilies look great along a pond or water feature or as a feature in a pretty pot. They look great in a large quantity, effective in big groups for a bold tropical look. NOTE: These are tall plants and you may want to plant along a building or fenceline as heavy winds may cause them to lean over.

How to grow: Scatter seed or plant after soaking the hard seeds for 2-3 days. Seeds can be planted about 1-2 inches deep or just scattered. Plant about 1.5-2 feet apart. Allow seeds pods to fully mature and drop naturally or collect for crafts or future gardens. Each seed pod has multiple seeds. Then once plant stalk and leaves dry up, you can cut to ground level. Rhizome will regenerate until fall or cooler weather.

Seeds: The seeds are very hard, and can be used for jewelry or crafts, or enclosed in wooden instruments for shakers.

Tubers/Rhizomes: Once your plants mature after approximately 3 years, the rhizome will have enlarged in size enough to divide.
